Accredited test laboratory for machine parts
strength measurements: |
Accredited according to the STN EN ISO/IEC 17 025, the “General
requirements for the calibration and test laboratory
qualification“, Certificate No. S 026.
The test laboratory activities include different types of tests, in
particular, strength static and fatigue tests under accreditation:
- basic mechanical metal tests (breaking strength, yield point,
STN EN 10002-1, STN EN 895),
- fatigue tests of material samples and components (truck
axles, brake toggles, bogie frames, rail welds, and the like),
- toughness test, impact bending test (STN EN 10045-1, STN EN
875),
- mechanical tests of welded joints (STN 05 1120-33),
- drawing device tests for passenger cars (STN ISO 30 3652,
94/20 ES),
- cableway wagon tests (STN 27 3005), static and dynamic tests.
The test laboratory activities include:
- accelerated life tests of dynamically stressed structures,
- measurement of the stress distribution on machine structures,
- detection of spring, bumper, damping element characteristics,
- insulated rail joint tests,
- strength tests of road sign parts.
Test laboratory activities include advisory and consulting
services and the technical law making.
Accreditation award enables the international validation of test
results.

The accredited test laboratory of coating
substances and road signs: |
| Accredited according to the STN EN
ISO/IEC 17 025 “General requirements for test and calibration
laboratories qualification“, Certificate No. S 073.
Testing and evaluation activities include:
- coating substances and coating systems for metal,
- cleaning agents and graffiti removers,
- road markings,
- car registration number,
- traffic control devices according to Decree No 90/1997 Coll.,
- safety signs and aids used in transport,
- coating substance tests in fluid state,
- dry coating film tests,
- material and product resistance tests:
- frost tests (up to -50°C),
- dry heat test (up to + 250°C),
- moist heat,
- xenon light (solar radiation),
- cyclic tests.
- material and product accelerated corrosion tests in:
- a condensation chamber,
- a salt chamber,
- a chamber with sulphur dioxide,
- sheet tests.
Other activities include:
- advisory and consulting services in the field of coating
substances and road signs,
- formulation of standards, regulations and directives,
- development of methodology for coating susbstance inspection
- proposal for application of coating systems and procedures on
metal structures,
- external audits.

and technical and safety parameters of components in transport: |

Testing activities include:
- tests according to the legislation in force (acts, decrees,
standards, recommendations, technical regulations, etc.),
- tests according to specific methodical instructions developed
under the customer´s requirements (technical regulations,
internal rules and orders of an enterprise, resort, etc.),
- tests (measurements) related to introduction of new
mechanical, electric, electronic and other components into
operation, including their technical and safety parameters,
- test (measurements) related to introduction of new
mechanical, electric, electronic and other components into
operation, including their technical and safety parameters,
- tests (measurements) related to the taking over and
introduction of new technical devices into operation,
- tests for other certification bodies.
Other activities include:
- Development of technical expertise related to electric,
electronic and other components in operation (after repairs,
re-constructions, etc.),
- Assessment of different technical problems in operation,
- Formulation of standards within the laboratory´s field of
competence, according to requirements of the central authorities
conforming to the law making plan,
- Development of operating instructions and technical
regulations according to the legislation in force and those that
are under development,
- Development of service instructions under the legislation in
force and under development,
- Consulting within the laboratory´s field of competence.
